Meet USHER
In the words of his creator, artist Sean Boyd …
USHER – A mysterious boutique cinema robot. He was such pure pleasure to create. I started with his eye and then his head, the rest flowed. USHER has been assembled using Soda Stream bottles, movie reels, an old projector, old Hoover Vacuum, old electrical tester and loads more bits and bobs.
USHER offers his home environment a unique and special vibe, his outstretched hand representing the archetypical gentleman welcoming his guests to their seats in the cinema, reminiscent of the golden age of the movie theatre. He is the ultimate static display to complete the décor of your private movie.
While on display in the gallery he was a center of attraction and conversation, adults and children alike were mesmerized by his countenance and children loved to shake his gloved hand. Your people will love him.
Once in his new home, USHER will be a positive and welcoming force for generations to come, an heirloom reminding guests and family of a time long past.
As each year passes, his uniqueness will grow as his older parts become antique, increasingly priceless, all the while reminding us to look after his planet and value what has been made.
