USHER. A singular, cinema-inspired museum-grade sculpture created from rare, rescued metal objects —movie reels, slide projector, vintage vacuum cleaner, gauges, lenses, and more —reborn as a commanding, cinematic figure. No editions. No replicas. Every component is irreplaceable, gathered over years and fused into a work that cannot be made again. Created for the collector who wants a true statement piece—a centre-piece for a private theatre or a world-class collection.

 USHER

In times gone by, every cinema had ushers who would welcome you to the cinema and show you to your seat, especially if the movie had just begun. After the screening, as people were leaving, ushers would use their vacuum cleaners to tidy up before the next show.

Usher’s outstretched hand extends a welcoming presence to guests as they arrive.

USHER is currently residing in Studio Gallery in Auckland, New Zealand, where he is exhibited along with other recycled artifacts.
